RAS has been working with the City of Wilmington Department of Parks & Recreation to renovate their urban playground parks.  In all of these renovations, RAS has provided visitors with direct access to “green” and natural play areas while incorporating storm water best management practices.

The design of the playgrounds included updated play equipment, interactive climbing structures and whimsical giant insect sculptures set in a field of colorful safety surfacing. Active recreational facilities, such as basketball and tennis courts, were improved with new equipment and surfacing. New walking paths lined with benches and shade trees were installed around the new playground areas.
