Rattlesnake Run

Poorly managed water runoff from nearby urban neighborhoods had eroded this eight-acre valley of public land in Wilmington, Delaware, depositing sediment and debris into the Brandywine River. Retained by the New Castle Conservation District, the firm prepared and implemented designs to mitigate this impact by managing the flow and improving the quality of stormwater through a sequence of bio-swales, stone tiers, and planted detention basins.
