Birchwood at Elkton is a 60-unit affordable senior apartment community. Located in the heart of downtown Elkton, the community is conveniently situated a short walk to shopping, dining, services and transportation. RAS designed the landscape to include both gathering and gardening opportunities for the residents. The dramatic planting design exceeds city requirements and provides multi-season interest with minimal required maintenance. Primarily native plants were selected and composed in a contemporary manner that compliments the architecture. A green wall extends vertically in the three story entry lobby.
